We are delighted to invite you to the International Workshop on Haptics and Computerized Learning for Skill Development in Vocational Education to be held at Amrita University, Kerala on January 3, 2012.
With focus on the SAVE multimedia enhanced vocational education software and haptic simulators for skill development developed by AMMACHI Labs of Amrita University, the workshop aims to provide the participants with gainful insight in to the development, deployment and advantages of ICT in Vocational education and training.
The workshop will feature tutorial sessions on common household repairs presented by India’s First batch of Women graduates of the computerized MES Plumbing course developed by AMMACHI Labs.
Topics to be covered include:
- Introduction to Haptic simulations and its role in skill development
- Multimedia Enriched Applications for Vocational Education
- Tutorials on learning to troubleshoot your common household plumbing problems
