We are delighted to invite you to the International Workshop on Virtual and Remote Laboratories to be held at Amrita University, Kerala on January 5, 2012.
The workshop aims to provide an effective and established international forum for discussion and dissemination of recent advances and innovations in use of Virtual and Remote Laboratories and ICT enabled education.

On January 5, 2012 a hands on workshop will be jointly conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharaghpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati, IIIT Hyderabad, NIIT Suratkal, COE Pune, Dayalbagh Univ in Virtual laboratory technology for enhancing education covering undergraduate and postgraduate syllabi.

Any student or teacher at anytime, anywhere can access these online virtual laboratory experiments. We invite heads of institute, Deans and HOD’s and take back technologies of high relevance showcased at this event at no cost to their institutions. The workshop will introduce participants to the world of virtual laboratories and highlight the various benefits of implementing virtual labs in your educational institute. The use of virtual laboratories have benefitted higher education institutions in many ways from being positively regraded by NAAC for having implemented ICT-enabled education methodologies to having students perform more experiments in less time but with a greater clarity of the scientific concepts involved.
